Ladies and Gentleman,
Welcome to my new (semi) regular column here on the WAM website.
Periodically I will be on here sharing my insight on WAM and spreading
information that I have come to possess. So let's get right down
to business....
April 24th makes
the return of Wrestling Alliance of Mayhem to the Worcester National
Guard Armory, WAM hasn't been seen or heard from since last November
when NY Owned Impact Pro Wrestling lead by owner Donavan Drake
came down to WAM and won control in ever so controversial fashion,
Did this have an effect on WAM's short absence? I don't know,
Will IPW have a role in this show? Obviously so, Diggin up some
dirt on IPW's owner, even though I do technically work for him
at this time, he isn't one to be messed with, he will do everything
in his power to make sure he is ontop and stays there at all costs,
As proven at the last WAM show from Worcester State College.
Let me take
you back to the end of last November, There was a match already
in progress in the ring when Drake's IPW came crashing through
the outside doors and over the guard rails taking out both competitors!
Drake got on the mic and called WAM CEO/President Eric Extreme
to the ring, Rambling on about how Extreme owed him money from
a previous business venture that he has yet to repay, So Drake
and IPW were forced to come and collect by any means necessary.
Extreme comes out accompanied by his best friend Alimah and WAM
Champion Ruff Ryder, Drake said some vulgar things about Extreme,
WAM, the state of MA and Extreme's best friend Alimah that drove
Eric to be "EXTREMLY" upset..(No pun intended). Drake
grabbed ahold of Alimah who then gave him a swift shot to the
NY kahones fallowed by a stiff uppercut to the jaw from Extreme,
This caused total and utter chaos as IPW protected the man who
writes their checks and began a strength in numbers beat down
on Extreme, Alimah, and Ruff Ryder. This caused for WAM's locker
room to empty but size and numbers came out on top and IPW looked
to be in control until WAM's Chairman and hometown boy The Vicious
Virgin came to ringside, ridding the ring of all IPW members with
a chair. Drake and IPW alike irate, Made a challenge that later
in the night due to Ruff Ryder's injury who could not work that
night, it would be IPW's Mike Steelerelli Vs. WAM's Zachary Richards
in Steelerelli's own "Little Italy Street Fight" for
control of IPW and WAM. Extreme and Virgin motioning that the
deal is on. and accept the challenge.
Later in the
night, Steelerelli and Richards went all through WSC, IPW intervening
at every chance, did just that, until the disgust of Vicious Virgin
and Ruff Ryder took over and ran to ringside to help WAM, As Steelerelli
was still down from a chair shot, Ruff Ryder and Richards brought
him to the other side of the arena and placed him on the sound
table. Virgin climbing atop the basketball hoop located above
the table, jumps off only to have Ruff Ryder pull Steelerelli
from the table forcing Richards who was holding Steelerelli in
place to come forward thus Virgin putting Richards through the
table. To the shock of the crowd, through boos and "holy
sh*t" chants, Ruff places Steelerelli ontop of Richards and
you hear the 1-2-3 giving full control of WAM to Donavan Drake
and IPW.
This leaves
me and many WAM fans with the question of...Why? Why would Ruff
Ryder, WAM's champion, holding WAM on his shoulders turn his back
on the company he helped build and turn his back on his fans and
his friends? To me the only answer could be the thing that rules
the world, The almighty dollar! I'm sure we will hear something
from Drake, IPW and Ruff Ryder on the 24th of April at the National
Guard Armory.
April 24th is looking to shape up as one hell of a show folks,
Already confirmed are many IPW wrestlers obviously to be in attendence,
"Spanish Fly" Ricky Dominguez, Nick Neighborhood, Chuck
Deep and The Texas Outlaw, Someone who has been at the heels of
Ruff Ryder even before IPW's attack, Maybe WAM has some help after
all?
Also booked
are 3 bands to perform at this event, Daisy
Cutter
, Jaded and Of
One Mind
all of which websites you can visit at the links herin.
This looks to
be a great show fans, April 24th, 2004, Worcester National Guard
Armory, 3 live bands, Professional Wrestling, and a good time,
What more could you ask for? I'm John Binochi and I'll see ya
in the seats!!
